Night Lights is one of the more unique takes on the promt of the games I played - mainly in its sympathies ,which definitely makes it interesting. And mostly interacting with an alien vehicle rather than a creature does make things feel extra overworldly. There's a lot of cool here!

...but I do feel like the game is a slight bit big and slow, and takes  bit too long to just let you run in a random direction in the woods before you actually find anything that points you towards a plot. A bit of tightening to get you to the story faster, and this would be extra delightful!

Thanks for the video!

I'll probably be updating the game whenever I have more time and I'll definitely take your feedback into consideration!

Cheers :)

Insanely good game that I really hope wins! The dev absolutely deserves all the praise and 1st place!

Thanks a lot! And for the video too :)

Thanks a lot for the review! I do agree that the player direction kinda falls short on the ending part. I am currently looking into a lot of issues and bugs and will likely release an update when the jam's review period has ended.

If you feel like revisiting the other ending - follow the creature and when it stops, look where its light is pointing and walk in that direction, it should lead it you into a cave, from there, the navigation is quite easy

Thanks again for the kind words, cheers :)

From the moment I started playing, I was instantly hooked by remarkable soundscapes and chilling atmosphere - fantastic game!

I took this even further and watched a playthrough of Alex down below, really couldn't hide my excitement. I loved every single detail in the game, the visuals, the footsteps, the hand gestures - very unique BTW. Overall, I said this a lot with other games from the jam, but this might be the winner - hope so!

Best of luck with the game jam mate! Cheers!

Thanks for the very kind words! Not sure about winning the jam, but I am hopeful - as one should be

Cheers!

Super interesting game! Got a bit of a War of the Worlds meets ET vibe, but a more peaceful one. Loved finding all the lore, I thought it was especially well done for a jam title!

Only complaints would be that it just felt a bit too dark at times and the sequences seemed to break a bit/fall out of order when doing a second playthrough.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I got  other complaints about how dark it is, so that's certainly something I'll look into. I also noticed that YouTube's compression algorithm doesn't like the noise filter, sorry for this one, I didn't even consider that someone might record a video of my game! Thanks for recording it, it was great

Cheers :)

Nice this was very good game I liked a lot well done keep it up!

Thanks!
